[Yin Yang: I Am The One]

You've got some good elements.

This isn't that good. You put zero effort into drawings and backgrounds.
Zero effort into original storyline or unique characters.

What you DO have, is Choreography. When it comes to animation itself, this is not bad! Lots of good kung fu action and camera angels, a bit overuse of the slow mo - matrix thing but otherwise the animation was good.

And the atmosphere you have set up at the end when the protagonist dies is pretty good too.

Seems like you have some decent animation skill. Put it together with some quality graphics, storyline and so on, and you could be pro.

Well, if you say so, but it took me more than a year to put "zero" effort into the backgrounds (You know, making them 3-d without a 3-d engine.) I am glad you liked the choreography, which is what I put most of my effort into. I do agree with you on that, and the fact that there were too many slo-mo parts in the movie. I am going to be looking into movies with animated detailed pictures in them after my next episode. Thanks for your honest opinion.

Well another GENIUS Colin vs Jesus episode, is what.

I remember seeing the first of these a year or so ago and thinking it was the most genius thing to ever hit flash.
These follow up episodes show no different.
Bravo.

Animutation is a Fanimutation that has been made by the "inventor" of the art, Neil Cicierega.

This movie is neither, but it uses motifs from both.

Quite poor.

The art itself wasn't horrendous. It was substandard, but nothing to gripe about.

The sound, though fitting, was repetative and annoying.

The worst part about it was the animation. You used the same shots over and over, coupled with tweening, lots and lots of tweening that was very slow, and very revealing.
You say you did a bad job because "it was rushed" and you promise "a much better sequel"

Well, WHY was it rushed? It's not like Newgrounds has a deadline.

If you can do better, and you know you can do better, then do so, before submitting your flashes.

it was rushed simply because i was busy and wanted to get the movie out....McPherson wanted it out by November, but I was already running behind schedule.....Plus sometimes if you dont hurry up and do things they'll never get done.....But this series was to be an intro, as it gets more in depth the episodes will improve, that i promise

Anyway, about the animation. I love it. It's brilliant. I saw it on newgrounds a while ago when some idiot stole it and posted it, I've been looking for the actual author ever since.

Art was decent, animation was average, I like the black and white effect, and it went well with the music.
Pretty meaningful, there. You probably struck a chord with some people.
